Josef Kote

Josef Kote has been painting since the age of fourteen. He graduated from university with a master's degree in Fine Arts. Soon after his arrival in Toronto, he established a fruitful and dynamic working relationship with Art Avenue Gallery which very early on became Josef Kote's exclusive representative.

Ultimately what resulted through the years of cooperation was: a shift from his classical training, an introduction of a new colour palette and the emergence of a new looser and bolder technique that has become truly recognizable as his own. Today, Art Avenue Gallery has the largest collection of Josef Kote's work in North America.
